Join Us Aug. 14 at the Ingersoll Museum for a Dedication and Celebration

Museum ext 2016.jpgPlease join us at the Robert Green Ingersoll Birthplace Museum to dedicate the Museum's new porch and to enjoy a cookout and a screening of “A Visit with Robert Ingersoll.”

New for 2016, the Robert Green Ingersoll Birthplace Museum features a new, historically accurate front porch. The new porch, constructed this spring by Ingersoll Committee chair Jeff Ingersoll, follows the design of a porch shown in an undated historical photograph. In conjunction with the existing porch on the building’s 1½-story wing, which Jeff erected in 2003, the new porch recreates the most finished look the Ingersoll birthplace has displayed at any point in its history.
