There is also a separate CFI-DC fundraising luncheon with PZ Myers nearby earlier in the day. The luncheon ticket includes premium seating at the 4 PM lecture so there is no need to register twice.

Life is Chemistry PZ Myers returns to the DC area after a sold-out 2011 appearance and explains why material causes are sufficient to explain the phenomenon we call "life" — no ghosts, spirits, souls, or magic Frankensteins in the sky to make it all happen.

The talk will be followed by a moderated Q&A.
