CFI-DC will also host a separate event with James Randi following the luncheon nearby. The luncheon ticket purchase includes premium seating at the 4 PM lecture so there is no need to register for both.

Please join us in welcoming James Randi to CFI-DC for a private members-only fundraising luncheon. We are very pleased to host this event at Kellari Taverna, DC's premier Greek restaurant. We have reserved a private room and there will be ample time to socialize both before and after the seated lunch. Please note that this event is only open to CFI-DC Friends of the Center.

James Randi is a retired professional magician (‘The Amazing Randi’) and the world’s best known demystifier of pseudo scientific claims. He is founder and chair of the James Randi Educational Foundation, whose $1 million challenge for evidence of any paranormal, supernatural, or occult power remains unclaimed.

Kellari Taverna strives to shorten the time and distance any ingredient spends from the soil, or the water, or the air, to the plate. Ingredients are purchased directly from Greek and Mediterranean importers fish, oil, cheese, balsamic vinegar, sea salt and beans because they are so distinct and virtually indispensable to the creation of a great Greek meal.
